The National Youth Theatre of
Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Giving youth a voice.
The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and Northern Ireland began in 1956 and has become a world leading arts organisation. There aren’t many institutions that can boast two James Bonds, Gandalf the Grey, Legolas, Abraham Lincoln, Ghandi, The King and Queen of England and Doctor Who as being former members. But alumni such as Dame Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Sir Daniel Day-Lewis, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colin Firth, Rosamund Pike, Orlando Bloom, Catherine Tate, Sir Ben Kingsley, Timothy Dalton, Matt Lucas, Hugh Bonneville, Matt Smith and many more have all passed through their doors.
We first began working with the NYT in 2006 when we were tasked with rebranding the organisiation for their 50th birthday. The brief was to simply create a brand that could publicly celebrate this event and then smoothly transition into a long standing identity of its own.
The logo and identity has the confident stature that a national institution with royal patronage needs. But rather than being old, stuffy and traditional, it is bright and inclusive whilst also looking credible and authentic to its younger audience.

Today we still work with the organisation providing a clear and distinct vision for each season’s theatrical campaigns, marketing and all other informational materials.
