In any large organisation it is crucial that all employees feel valued, important and an influential part of a company-wide network.

Roche had set up their Welwyn Leadership Team (WLT) initiative, based in their Welwyn Garden City Headquarters, a few years ago but the communications were very disorganised and did not have a consistent, cohesive style. This meant employees treated these meetings, events and get-togethers with with less importance than they deserved.

We were asked to give the whole initiative a new look, one that reflects its importance and that would be immediately recognisable to everyone. As there are several events and different meeting types, the design had to work across a number of different areas, but still remain consistent.

The branding is based on a visual system that echoes a basic scientific look - molecules joined together, a simple graphic metaphor for all team members to identity with. It has been rolled out across various formats, from signage and digital screens to presentations and emails.
