The very first World Restaurant Awards launched in Paris on 18 February 2019. Showcasing the best global talent in a range of new categories the awards has tried to celebrate restaurants as culture, considered in the same way as film, art and music.
A direct and simple idea, a spinning globe represents the world, but instead of showing countries we replaced the globe with a dinner plate to symbolise restaurants.

We created a full identity for the awards and promotional materials to market the event, as well as signage and branding for the ceremony itself. A nice touch was to recreate the logo as the awards themselves, manufactured by the renowned luxury porcelain experts Haviland.
